The new streamlined “AMJ45 8/8 AP Cat.6A” from Telegärtner is a compact double gang outlet (80x65x42 mm) for surface mounting. The installation process has been greatly simplified, with only the base unit and alpine white cover needing to be screwed in place. The cable can be routed from all four directions in 90° increments.

Telegärtner Produces Solar Electricity
Telegärtner Karl Gärtner GmbH in Steinenbronn has installed a solar power system on the roof of its company building and will be able to cover up to 15 percent of its annual electricity requirements with environmentally friendly solar electricity. The photovoltaic system which went into operation at the end of June 2010 consists of 410 solar panels. The panels were installed over a roof surface area of more than 2,000 square metres. “With the system, we save about 57 tons of CO2 and about 43 tons of sulphur dioxide per year and therefore make an active contribution to environmental protection,” Florian Gärtner, executive assistant at Telegärtner, points out. The implemented state-of-the-art polycrystalline modules feature a high performance coefficient and are very efficient. With a system output of 94.3 kWp (kilowatt peak) and an estimated total annual output of 91.000 kWh the company will produce about 15 % of its annual electricity consumption itself without CO2 pollution. After it had become necessary to renovate the flat roof, the company management decided at the beginning of the year to install a photovoltaic system on the company building and to make a significant contribution to protection of the climate.
