AMJ Module Cat.6A
The flexibility of offices and assembly areas is improved because our new modules increase the variety of possible connections offered by the flexible lines. The creation of additional consolidation points, for example, permits machines in a production area to be moved much more readily, without having to tear out and reinstall fixed computer feeder lines.
No Crossings Thanks to Lead Management
The new, fully shielded AMJ K module Cat.6A contacts fixed and flexible lines from AWG22/1 up to a diameter of AWG27/7. The secure connection possibilities for wires with a copper diameter of up to AWG27/7 represents an interesting plus point. Numerous new measures interact to ensure good connecting values. For example, the AMJ module is equipped with integrated Cat.6A wire management to prevent crossed lead pairs. A new IDC termination clamp can securely hold solid wire from AWG26/1 to 22/1 as well as flexible braided leads from AWG24/7 to 27/7. Installation-friendly connection techniques require no special tools.
For All the Most Common International Installation Cutouts
Separate cable strain relief and shielded contacting permit even small bend radii without endangering contacting. The shield housing is made of solid die-cast zinc and is equipped with flat tab ground connectors. This allows the AMJ modules to be quickly and simply grounded by connecting them to existing ground cables, for example, to a steel cable duct.
The AMJ K Cat.6A module can, for example, also be mounted either horizontally or vertically on top-hat rail adaptors, and can be rotated in 90° increments. Thus, for example, it can be employed for consolidation point connections in cable ducts. The IP20 industrial environment or household electrical distributors represent additional application areas with an installation dimension of 19.3 x 14.7 mm, the new module fits in all the most commonly used installation fitting cutouts worldwide, including central panels, 19" patch panels, sub-floor, cable duct, or flush-mount.
Fully Automated, Quality Tested Manufacturing
Telegärtner manufactures the new, quality-tested modules in Germany. A special, fully automated machine presses the crimp clamp into the housing without soldering. Quality control along the assembly line uses a laser to check the heights of the RJ45 contacts. This allows us to guarantee uniformly high transmission technology values.

Advantages
-
Cat.6A wire management
Guided Cat.6A wire-sorting technology ensures proper installation for high class EA reserves in the permanent link
Telegärtner wire management prevents crossed pairs
Installation-friendly connection technology requiring no special tools
-
IDC termination
IDC termination for cables with AWG26/1-22/1 solid conductors and for AWG24/7, AWG26/7, AWG27/7 with stranded conductors
a large bandwidth of copper conductor diameters is covered by the IDC termination
-
Shielding
Separate cable strain relief and shieldcontacting: this permits smaller bend radii for the installation cable without any resultant negative effects on the shield contacting
Solid shielding housing made of zinc die-cast
-
Quick Grounding
Quick grounding: AMJ modules K can be directly connected to pre-assembled grounding cables at the panel connector
(DIN 46342-1; 6,3 mm), e. g. in steel cable ducts
-
Flexible Application
Can be used to create consolidation point connections
The AMJ Modules/Couplers K can be installed vertically or horizontally in cable ducts with the aid of the top-hat rail adaptors (which can be rotated in 90° increments)
-
Approved for RJ11/12 plugs "K"-types
The minimum number of mating cycles for RJ45 jacks is 750. The IEC Standard 60603-7-51 does not permit connections with RJ11/12 plugs
The user-friendly solution from Telegärtner with regard to “accidental matings with RJ11/12 plugs” is called the AMJ Module/Coupler K. The newly developed RJ45 jack includes an integrated protection against overbending of the contacts. This protection is offered for all types of series AMJ.
The integrated overbend protection still permits 750 mating cycles with RJ11/12 plugs and – despite the fact that the socket contacts 1 and 8 being overbent – ensures secure contacting when mated with RJ45 plugs
